Waterpark Slide Review

The slide is not designed as a slide as I thought it would be. The blow up rings prevent the kids from sliding through it. We have tried adding a water hose but that didn't help much. The kids inch worm themselves down it. After one day of battling with it, they don't even bother to play with it. It was a very disappointing purchase.

Finding Nemo 16' Waterslide Review

We bought this toy 2 days ago and my kids were up at 7 this morning asking for it. The biggest problem is getting them to stop playing. The lawn gets very wet and muddy. So far it seems durable and they have played hard, but they are not quite 5 years old. Even if it does rip, for $10 we can buy a new one. We love it!

Little Tikes Wade Lagoon Review

This is really a neat idea in theory...its quite durable and if you don't mind the blower fan having to be on at all times when there is water in the pool this is good for you. Also, the slide doesn't "slide" the material its made of isn't slippery at all, even with water on the slide, it doesn't slide. Oh well. Then there is the tree umbrella, which blows over even in the very slightest breeze (and scares the kids if they are very little). Then the sprayer is only out of one tiny section of the tree (not what the ad on the box shows at all) and the garden hose has to be attached to the sprayer (the water doesn't just come out of the pool and into the spray). I don't feel it was worth the money and its going back to the store and we even paid about 1-4-0 at wally world for it on clearance. Still not worth it.

Spiderman Slip 'N Slide 16ft Water Slide Review

I purchased Spiderman Slip 'n Slide to replace a double-wide on that my kids wore out.The Spiderman one looks cool, but the water sprays only from one narrow tube on one side. When the tube fills with water, the tube tends to twist.This results in some of the water spraying away to the left of the slide and only some of it sprays on the slide (if you are lucky).We had a hard time getting the water pressure just right so that the water spray actually landed on the slide and not in the grass.
I would, however, strongly recommend any double lane or racing slip 'n slide since with those slides, your hose is attached to a tube that runs down the middle of the slip 'n slide and thoroughly wets the entire slide.

Banzai soak n splash water slide Review

Do not buy this product.The picture on the box is not the slide you get.It looks like you get a large pool at the end and that it is pretty wide too.My daughter is 7, a small 7 at that, and she can't sit comfortably in the pool area.With how small the pool is you can't even get water to puddle in it.Very displeased with the purchase.I would pay more for the original slip n slide brand because this one really sucks.

Intex Slide N Spray Pool Review

I was very happy with the size of the pool. It is large enough for adults, but the upper level is low enough for a 2-year-old to traverse easily.My only concern is that a small portion of the water from the sprinklers goes into the yard.I would definitely recommend this to other parents!

Swimming Pool Water Park Slide Review

I bought this slide for my 3 and 7 yr old and was very disappointed.Within 15 minutes of play I knew we had made a bad choice! The base has 2 large yellow square inflatables which the long tube inserts into.As the kids would push into the slide, the tunnel kept slipping through the squares which were suppose to be holding it in place.Also, the fact that the inside of the tunnel is made up of rings instead of a smooth surface makes sliding very difficult.I purchased mine through my local pool store and will be calling to see if I can return it.I definitely would not recommend buying this product!

Slip N' Slide Wave Rider Double Review

Every summer I end up buying a slip n slide as the previous years one is either worn out or has a hole in it.First off these are impossible to keep from getting holes in as they constantly move around on the grass and rub against rocks and other things.My kids love playing on it and setting it up is really easy.The challenge we always have is making sure the water stays pointing on the slide and not other directions.Being an extra wide one does present challenges especially if your water pressure isn't very high.The water will not spray the entire surface area and render the slide useless for 2 people.My kids are 10 and 7 and fit on it just fine together although most of the time they are doing it one at a time.

Banzai Triple Wave Racer Water Slide Review

Although the picture makes it look a lot longer than it is, this slide is still really fun and the kids get plenty of sliding in.It's great to have 3 lanes, so less sharing means more sliding time for each kid.They love racing, and grabbing the detachable flags at the end of the lanes.It seems to be well made.As long as you don't try to drag it around with the hose attached or the lane bumpers full of water, it should probably hold up well.Moving it to a new spot on the lawn takes a little effort if you're trying to be careful.You either need to lift the water-filled bumpers carefully so you don't strain the seams, or drain them.But all in all, it works great, and we've had tons of fun using it!

Aqua-Leisure Spray Zone Poolside Water Slide Review

I purchased this slide to replace a slide my grandchildren had for 3 years. I was extremely disappointed. The slide was unstable. As my 5 year old granddaughter slid down toward the pool, the slide shifted tumbling her off very close to the edge of the pool. If her mother hadn't been right there, she would have hit her head. I know these type of slides can be made safer since the old slide my daughter had didn't have this problem. >:-[

Intex 117-by-76-by-53-Inch Rainbow Ring Pool Play Center Review

Unlike many pools you see, this one is actually about the size as you'd expect from the box.It has several activitiessuch as the ball ramps, the slide and the rings that seem like they might be fun for a younger child.It is rated 3 years+, but the activities seem like they'd be enjoyed best by someone between 1 and 3.

The little pillows on the larger ring make a squeaking noise when squeezed, which would no doubt bring squeals of giggles from the tots.The most fun part, however is the shower, which when the hose is turned up high whips around and showers everything!This has been found to be hysterical, if best done near a flower bed that needs the water anyway.At lower pressure it showers down one pool or the other, depending on which direction the rainbow arch is drooping.

Unfortunately our boys are a bit out of this age range (3 & 5 now) and while they enjoy it as a pool, its clear the activities are a bit beneath them. It is made of light weight PVC, such as you might expect from a drug store inflatable raft.The larger rings have both large holes for an air pump, as well as smaller ones to be inflated directly by a person.The ramps, rainbow and other accessories are all person inflatable only. The air-pump holes are also not valved, so be quick about getting the caps on!I suspect it will prove not be as durable and easy to use as our previous pool, which was better constructed, though also made by Intex.

In short, a toddler would love this pool, and if it didn't survive more than one season it is probably still a value.For larger kids prone to running jumps onto the tubes, there may be a better choice.At this point I expect to be looking again next year.

Little Tikes Slam 'N Slide Review

I bought this for my daughter's 4th bday party.The children played on it 5 hours!It held up great.The pool area was great for the toddlers at the party.My only problem was water got inside it, which is normal since there are small holes in the seams of the float. (note: the small holes are supposed to be there to let air come out of the float.)So it was hard to get the water out and dry it out.After 2 days, we crossed our fingers hoping we dried it well enough, and stored it away.

UPDATE: July 2008We pulled the slide out again this year.Minimal "molding" from putting the slide away slightly damp.Scrubbed it with soap and water and set it up.The sun cleaned it right up and the kids played another solid 5 hours on it.We didn't turn the water on as high this year and that helped keep so much water from getting inside the slide.Dried it out for 4 days in our garage.It was completely dry and folded up nicely.I am happy to be getting my monies worth from this slide.The price I paid for it was the same price to rent a slide for one afternoon.Now I've used it 2 years... going for a 3rd next year!

I bought this slide for my two kids, age 4 and 6.They are really enjoying it, and it seems to be good quality.It was easy to set up.I would say older kids such as teenagers would not like it as much because the heavier you are, the slower you slide down.

Wham-O Slip 'N Slide Double Wave Rider Review

This toy is convenient if you have more than one child who wants to ride the toy.The side by side design encourages everything from racing to just plain tandem sliding.It is a little weird to have the hose running under the end 'pool' area, but that has not yet caused any problems.I reccommend this to anyone who has more than one child who would want to play.One comment: we have a well with lower water pressure than our city system counterparts.The area we have to set up this toy is a good 50ft from our faucet; this results in a declining spray from the hose connection point to the end of the slide.It does not prevent the fun, but the kids did notice that the "front" of the slide didn't have as high of a water spray.
