Finding Nemo 16' Waterslide Review

We bought this toy 2 days ago and my kids were up at 7 this morning asking for it. The biggest problem is getting them to stop playing. The lawn gets very wet and muddy. So far it seems durable and they have played hard, but they are not quite 5 years old. Even if it does rip, for $10 we can buy a new one. We love it!

Banzai Blast Water Park Review

First off, the picture posted online depicted the actual water park more accurately than the one I purchased at Target.The box from Target showed 6 kids that looked between 5-8 years old all over this pool.

I got it home couldn't use my blower to inflate the pool since it only had the small blowholes for the handheld pumps. The pool is separate from the inflated arch & slide.The slide has to be tied down to secure it to the pool, the arch has velcro to attach it to the pool.The arch didn't become an issue until I hooked the hose up to have the waterfall from the archway.The water fell directly in front of the slide, and not on the slide to help my 3yr old slip easily down to pool. The water weighted down the arch and it tipped over into the pool, I even tried turning down the amount of water coming through the hose...but that didn't help either.I was finally reduced to McGuiver a dog leash strapped to the arch and ancored to the ground with landscaping staples.

The box said for ages 2 and up.My son is 3yrs old and had to duck to get under the arch on the slide.I intended on having his two best friends ages 2 & 3 come over and play too, but unfortunately the pool area would only leave enough room for 1 kid!

I'm returning it to Target and taking my son to the waterpark instead!

Go Diego Go! Sea Splash Waterslide Water Slide Nick Jr Review

It was definitely the hit at the park on water play day, but it tore after 2 hours of use.Not sure if due to rough use?But I will consider getting a less expensive water slide next time.

Spiderman Slip 'N Slide 16ft Water Slide Review

I purchased Spiderman Slip 'n Slide to replace a double-wide on that my kids wore out.The Spiderman one looks cool, but the water sprays only from one narrow tube on one side. When the tube fills with water, the tube tends to twist.This results in some of the water spraying away to the left of the slide and only some of it sprays on the slide (if you are lucky).We had a hard time getting the water pressure just right so that the water spray actually landed on the slide and not in the grass.
I would, however, strongly recommend any double lane or racing slip 'n slide since with those slides, your hose is attached to a tube that runs down the middle of the slip 'n slide and thoroughly wets the entire slide.

Slip 'N Slide Splash Factor Review

We were quite disappointed in the quality of this product. We used it only 3 times before it ripped at the end where the 'splash factor' is. It has lost the durability/quality it once had many years ago. Problems Include: The plastic is too thin, the slide is too narrow, there are only 4 spikes (one per corner) to hold the slide in place therefore it needs to be continuously straightened and flattened, the water spray jets roll outward toward the lawn -- we could not get them to stay facing towards the slide unless we continuously adjusted, the blue blow-up part at the end soon rips away from the slide thus the 'splash factor' is gone. Too cheaply made to be enjoyable.

This looks like a fun pool toy, but it is actually dangerous. It is very hard to maneuver, and once you do get it rolling, the kid's fall when they get to the top-it's too hard to hold onto.My daughter popped her shoulder out of place on this thing. Would not recommend at all!

Slip N' Slide Wave Rider Double Review

Every summer I end up buying a slip n slide as the previous years one is either worn out or has a hole in it.First off these are impossible to keep from getting holes in as they constantly move around on the grass and rub against rocks and other things.My kids love playing on it and setting it up is really easy.The challenge we always have is making sure the water stays pointing on the slide and not other directions.Being an extra wide one does present challenges especially if your water pressure isn't very high.The water will not spray the entire surface area and render the slide useless for 2 people.My kids are 10 and 7 and fit on it just fine together although most of the time they are doing it one at a time.

Banzai Triple Wave Racer Water Slide Review

Although the picture makes it look a lot longer than it is, this slide is still really fun and the kids get plenty of sliding in.It's great to have 3 lanes, so less sharing means more sliding time for each kid.They love racing, and grabbing the detachable flags at the end of the lanes.It seems to be well made.As long as you don't try to drag it around with the hose attached or the lane bumpers full of water, it should probably hold up well.Moving it to a new spot on the lawn takes a little effort if you're trying to be careful.You either need to lift the water-filled bumpers carefully so you don't strain the seams, or drain them.But all in all, it works great, and we've had tons of fun using it!

Little Tikes Rocky Mountain River Race Review

I researched all kinds of these before finally deciding on this one. This one had the best ratings!! I had decided to order it and then lucked out and found it at wal mart on sale for $300.So I bought it.It really wasn't hard to set up at all.The only thing is it is very heavy.Yes, the blower constantly blows to keep the waterslide inflated and this means you need to have it plugged it in.But the neat thing is, its pretty self-contained.There's not a lot of running around outside the slide because they come down the slides into the wading pool and go right back up the center.They don't have to get out very much which also saves from them dragging grass clippings into the water.We've only had this since July 4th, 2009, but it seems very durable and what fun!! My 3 year old grandson played so much on it all weekend.The box says its rated for 350 lbs. But I'd think that might be a bit hard on it but it also means its great for holding several kids at a time.The other thing is you have to continually run the water to it to keep it wet.It would be neat if you could recirculate the water but you can't.We are able to hook the hose up to warm and cold water so the kids really like! Yes we did run out of hot water but we adults had lots of fun just watching the kids play too!Its well worth it!Once you unplug the blower, it goes flat in several minutes.They recommend getting all the water out then turn the blower on to inflate it and let it dry out good before you put it away.It comes with a storage bag but i have no idea how you'd ever get it into that.It is quite heavy!We used a big box when we took it down to put it away during the week when we aren't around as much!I think at first my husband thought I was crazy and after seeing the kids on it for 15 minutes they all told me I'd done good.. its awesome!!At this time I have no regrets about buying this!

Little Tikes Slam N Curve Water Slide Review

We bought an older version of this model over two years ago.My boys, now 5 and 8, have spent endless hours on this slide. They are pretty rough on it, and it has held up great!They have had their friends on it too with no problems.I have other friends who own different water slides and mine has outlasted theirs.One of the best features is the pool that collects water at the bottom.This is a lot of fun, plus it prevents a muddy area from developing while you kids are playing.Another reviewer complained about the pump having to be on the whole time.But, as with any moonwalk or large blow up slide, this is always the case.This is a pretty large slide and requires constant air.Its also pretty quick to set up and I do it all my self.We have really enjoyed our slide and gotten our moneys worth out of it.I have had no problems so far.

Double Cannon Blast Slide Review

Bought this for a neighborhood party for kids ages 2-10 years old. They LOVED it.We thought they'd only use it for a little while as the water might be too cold for them or they would get bored after a little while but NO!They played on it all day, till dark.We had to move it a few times because the yard got too muddy but they played on and it was sturdy and held up great to about 12 kids and even a few adults.No rips or problems.

This toy is convenient if you have more than one child who wants to ride the toy.The side by side design encourages everything from racing to just plain tandem sliding.It is a little weird to have the hose running under the end 'pool' area, but that has not yet caused any problems.I reccommend this to anyone who has more than one child who would want to play.One comment: we have a well with lower water pressure than our city system counterparts.The area we have to set up this toy is a good 50ft from our faucet; this results in a declining spray from the hose connection point to the end of the slide.It does not prevent the fun, but the kids did notice that the "front" of the slide didn't have as high of a water spray.
