Sun Searcher Pool Water Park Slide Review

We purchased this slide last summer for my 5 year old and 10 year old (I did not see any age limits just weight limits and my ten year old weighed 70# soaking wet and this box said it can hold a 100# pound child).The kids went down it a few time and it was fine, then my ten year old started running up the slide and flying down it, as a 10 year old will do.Well all the sudden he stopped using it and when I asked why he said it was because it hurt is bottom when he landed.Well the little guy who weighs 40# had no problem so i thought i would check it out and yes I was about 30 #over the wright limit i know.So I went down and when i landed on the bottom my breath was taken away and it hurt!!!!!!So for sure this slide is for the light weights, I would say 50# or less!2ND after 3 months of use we found a hole in the pool part at the bottom that made the slide less sturdy and your landing even worse (the 40 pounder now hit the bottom too hard).We stored our slide in th egarage when not in use but after 3 months we noticed another hole (patched the 1st one) that was from the seams wearing out and could not patch that one because it was in an area that had a crease.Then something started flaking of on the inside and water would fill up in the inside of the slide.We are very disappointed and are looking to buy a new slide this year. Whren you spend $300 on a slide you expect more than 3 months of use (although we really only get 3 usable months of the year to use it here).I will be much more cautious in buying a slide this time and truly appreciate these types of reviews!!!!
