Fisher Price Fire Truck Play Center Review

My son absolutely loves this toy! We bought it for him for his first birthday and it is by far his favorite. The only problem the I've had with it is

1-the top firetruck had a hole in it upon arrival. I didn't bother to send it back, the pit was what we really wanted and that was perfectly fine

2-the top part of the firetruck is attached with Velcro. It doesn't stay on at all. He uses it as a fort so at least he gets use out it.

Other than that I have no complaints. He is completely happy with it so I suppose I shouldn't complain at all.

Plastic Snapset Exotic Reef Kiddie Pool Review

The weight of the water inside the pool actually holds up the sides. The sides do not stand up unless the pool is full. I would definitely try it before I threw it away. I have two small children and we have had one every year for the past four summers. lots of fun.

BANZAI SPRAY 'N SPLASH ZEBRA POOL PLAY PARK Review

this is the tiniest pool they could have possibly gotten a slide into. I think they must have taken the picture on the box with either a giant version of the pool inside or very tiny children.This item is a small piece of plastic junk. It isn't worth the $50+ you'll pay for it. It isn't worth the $20 I paid for it.

Barbie I Can Be - Swim Instructor Review

I always loved my Barbie dolls when I was a kid and am now buying them for my 3 yr old.So I bought this one today at Target for $9.45, opened the box, removed the dolls and was covered in doll hair.Both dolls have hair that looks like it was chopped (a bad layer job) and both dolls are losing their hair.The hair is all over our clothes and floor.When did Barbie become so cheap?Other than the hair loss, my 3 yr old is having a lot of fun with both of these dolls (the little toddler is really cute) and she plans on taking them for a swim tomorrow.She loves them.

Fisher Price School Bus Play Center Review

My 2 year old daughter got this as a gift and loves it! We've not had any problems with ripped seams. You definitely need a pump to blow it up, though. It does deflate, but slowly, as any air-filled product will do. I'd say we've had to fill it every few days. Granted, my daughter is not rough and tumble, so maybe she's not using at hard as others and that's why it stays inflated. We bought an extra 200 balls and it fills the bottom well. It's also a very good size. We have it in our living room and I thought we'd be constantly putting it up and taking it down, but it's small enough that we aren't tripping over it all the time. All in all, I'd say this was a good product for the money and, again, my daughter is absolutely thrilled with it.
*** 6 MONTHS LATER : we've had two seam leaks since we got this, but were still able to fix it with epoxy. My daughter still loves it, but it's durability leaves something to be desired. I'd change my durability rating to a 2, if this site would let me :)

Sesame Street Activity Ball Pit Review

Let me start by saying that at this point it is packed back up in a box and in the closet. Part of the reason for it - smell, the second part is size.
smell - well I can't blame the manufacturer for it, but if you plan to put it in child's room - first fill it with air, place it inback yard (if you have one) and after a couple of days place it in the room, otherwise the room will stink of new plastic for weeks.

Size - this thing is much bigger than it looks. If you have a huge room - go for it, but if the room you put it in is small - think twice - this thing is relatively huge.

Pump - if you don't have an air pump in your house- you should buy one. Manual is OK, but it will take you 20+ minutes to blow all of the different sections of this thing. Manual pumps go for 5-7 bucks in your local drug store.

In summary - the toy is OK if you have a enough space, can ventilate the smell, and buy a pump.
